Pastor Todd and his family came to First Ruidoso in January 2019. He is married to Nicole and has five children (Logan, Andrew, Autumn, Molly Grace and Joy).  He has served for over 20 years in churches in Mississippi, Louisiana, and Georgia. Pastor Todd graduated from New Orleans Baptist Theological seminary with his Master of Divinity in 2000 and with His Doctor of Ministry in 2009.

Mike and his wife Jennifer just arrived in Ruidoso in September of 2025. Mike serves as Worship and Administration Pastor and has served Southern Baptist Churches since 1989 in a variety of capacities.  Jennifer plays a vital role in Mike's ministry and together they have two grown sons who are married, each with a son of their own. Mike is passionate about engaging people in worship and being on mission wherever God allows him to go.

Gerald  has been on staff with First Baptist since July 2021. He serves as the Pastor of Administration and has served for over 25  years in ministry. Gerald has served churches in Texas, Oklahoma, Missouri and now New Mexico. Gerald is married to Denise who is a 2nd grade teacher in Ruidoso. They have 5 grown children.

Tim has been serving the Lord for over 12 years. His ministry and discipleship has take him to many places. The first being a Motorcycle ministry for jails called Prisoners of Hope which led him to His wife Cecilia Jane who He has been married to for 6 years. Four years ago He was accepted on staff with Fellowship of Christian Athletes,  He served as First Baptist Youth Pastor for three years  and is licensed to minister. Now He also serves as the Pastor of Evangelism of First Ruidoso.

Austin and his wife,  Madison, have been married since 2016 and joined the First Ruidoso family in 2026. Austin began serving as Student and Media Pastor on August 1 after serving in student ministry throughout New Mexico since 2019. He is a licensed and ordained minister with a heart for reaching the next generation with the Gospel and helping students grow in their relationship with Christ. Austin is passionate about teaching God’s Word, building relationships with students and their families, and equipping young people to live out and share their faith.

Lindsay and her husband, Dennis, recently celebrated 13 years of marriage and, following the Lord’s leading, made Ruidoso their home in 2025. After 20 years as a Dental Hygienist, Lindsay never imagined God would lead her into a new career in Children’s Ministry. Through prayer, Scripture, and His faithful confirmation, God clearly called Lindsay to step away from the Dental Field to serve as the Children’s Director at First Baptist Church Ruidoso. Serving children has always been one of Lindsay’s greatest joys. Her heart is to help children discover who Jesus is, grow in their faith, follow Him, and know how deeply they are loved by God. She is grateful for the opportunity to serve as the Children’s Director and considers it a privilege to partner with parents, families, and volunteers in discipling the next generation and helping children develop a faith that will remain with them throughout their lives.

Karen was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and later moved to Ruidoso, New Mexico. She has been actively serving in ministry since the age of 17, beginning in worship ministry where she has served as a worship leader, vocalist, musician, and sound technician. Over the years, she has also served in many areas of church ministry, including children, youth, and young adults. Today, she continues to serve wherever needed while also helping with worship, communications, media, events, and more. Karen has a heart for serving others, supporting the church, and using her gifts to help people grow in their faith and feel connected to the church community.

Deborah has served at First Baptist since 2014. She helps to boost morale in the office and keeps everyone on their toes. She is one of the first people you meet when you come to the door. We are thankful for her fun-loving spirit and her usefulness to our church. 

Hank has been in Fbc for 3 years. He started helping with janitorial work since February. 

Bill and Linda are Licensed Professional Clinical Counselors.  They have been LPC's and LPCC's in New Mexico since 1994. They also counseled  in Texas for about 6 years.  They have a blended family of three children and six grandchildren and have been married  for 35 years. You can call on them for a fee-based counseling (based on income) or use lay counselors at First Baptist Church (trained by the Eubanks).
